Tod Cooper
President, The L.E. Myers Co.

Mr. Cooper began his career in the electrical construction industry in 1989 as an Estimator with MYR Group subsidiary The L.E. Myers Co.

Mr. Cooper has held several positions within The L.E. Myers Co. including District Estimator, Business Development Manager, District Manager and Regional Manager, overseeing all aspects of T&D construction and maintenance operations. He then served in Vice President and Regional Vice President roles where he was responsible for the oversight of all MYR Group eastern district operations and played a key role in developing, sustaining and growing relationships with many major clients throughout the eastern U.S.

In 2015, Mr. Cooper was named President of The L.E. Myers Co. He currently serves as Senior Vice President, East for MYR Group and oversees MYR Group’s large projects in addition to the eastern district operations. Mr. Cooper is well-versed in all aspects of operations and brings significant experience in the areas of personnel development, estimating, sales and project management.
Mr. Cooper is a Board Member with American Line Builders Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association, and is a Trustee for the American Line Builders Apprenticeship Training Program. He has a Masters Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Training from Bowling Green State University.


William H. Green
Senior Vice President, The L.E. Myers Co.

Mr. Green has over 45 years of management and operations experience in the transmission and distribution industry, and currently serves as Senior Vice President of The L.E. Myers Co.

Most recently, Mr. Green served as Senior Vice President of MYR Group and from December 2003 to May 2011, he also served as Chief Operating Officer of MYR Group. He began his career with Sturgeon Electric Company (a subsidiary of MYR Group Inc. (MYR Group) in 1988 as a Vice President of Line Operations. In 1996, he became a Senior Vice President of Line Operations for The L.E. Myers Co., another MYR Group subsidiary. In 1999, Mr. Green was named Group Vice President of T&D-East of MYR Group and in 2003, was named Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of MYR Group. Prior to joining MYR Group, Mr. Green held senior management positions with Commonwealth Electric Company as well as Florida Power & Light.

Vice President, Central Region

Mr. Schweitzer has more than 38 years of experience in the electrical construction industry, and began his career in 1981 with Florida Power Corporation. Until 2002, he served in various roles including Real Estate Land Agent, Substation & Building Contract Construction Supervisor, Manager of Transmission Construction, Director of Transmission Construction & Maintenance, Director of Bulk Power Services, Director of Systems Design and Director of Transmission and Substation Services.

His extensive utility experience has provided Schweitzer with in-depth knowledge of all aspects related to project development, business development, land acquisition, project management, budgeting, scheduling, estimating, new construction and maintenance, engineering, safety and labor relations.
In 2003, Schweitzer joined The L.E. Myers Co., a subsidiary of MYR Group Inc. (MYR) as District Manager in FL and in 2004 took the position as a Project Manager on the CBEC to Grimes project for MidAmerican Energy. He was responsible for managing the design, procurement and construction of this 125-mile, 345kV/161kV transmission line, running from Council Bluffs, Iowa to Grimes Iowa; and a new 345kV/161kV substation. In 2008 he managed construction for two 500kV transmission line projects for Dominion Virginia Power in Northern and Southern Virginia.

Mr. Schweitzer currently serves as Vice President of the Central Region for The L.E. Myers Co. He is responsible for the Decatur, Indianapolis and Marshalltown districts as well as any large projects within the central region.

Mr. Schweitzer holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Dakota State University and a Masters in Business Administration from the Florida Institute of Technology. In addition, he has attended numerous executive business courses at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, University of Georgia Terry School of Business, and Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business.
Mr. Schweitzer is a member of IEEE/ESMO and is an IEEE Principal Voting Member of NESC Sub-Committee 8. He is also Vice Chairman of the biennial World Conference on Live Line Maintenance and is Subcommittee Chair for the Care and Maintenance of Conductive Clothing.
